Where everyone is welcome.

  • We’re super excited to introduce our brand new app, called myLibro. With the app, you can place holds, renew books, see the events from our webpage, view the posts from our Facebook page, and more!

    Download “myLibro” from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store and choose Nortonville Public Library. All you need to login is your library card number and your library account password. If you don’t know either of those, send us a message on Facebook, email us at director@nortonvillelibrary.org, or give us a call at 913-886-2060.

    On the home page of the app (see below), you can click on the shopping bag to see your holds ready to be picked up. Click on the book next to it to see your holds, and the shopping cart for items you have checked out.

  • Don’t forget that we have in-person summer reading signups starting tomorrow (Friday) at 2:00pm! EVERYONE can sign up (babies all the way up to the wisest of adults!). Come in and get a treat, get your tote of goodies, make a small craft, and see all the prizes up for grabs this year!!

    We do also have online signups and logging this year! You can come in anytime starting at 2 tomorrow to get your tote bags if you’ve already signed up online. (See details below)

    It’s going to be an ocean of fun this year as we dive into summer reading!

    To join our reading program online:

    Search for “Reader Zone” in your app store.
    Install the app on your Android, Apple
    or Amazon device.
    Make an account and enter the Reading
    Program Code (see below).
    Begin Reading and logging!

    Codes to use:
    Babies to Early Readers: 14708
    Middle Grade Readers: 311e3
    Teens and Adults: b86f3

    You can create one account for all of the readers in your family by creating a parent account and then “add readers.”

  • We are excited to be able to offer an online summer reading registration and logging option this year!

    You will be able to start logging books and activities on Friday, June 3, but if you would like to register before that, you can.

    To join our reading program:
