Nortonville Public Library

  • The library is looking for teen volunteers for the summer! We could not do what we do without them, and we appreciate their hard work SO much. But it’s fun work as well! Teens 13+ can be “official” volunteers for summer reading, get a t-shirt to keep, and will earn community service for high school, 4-H, church, or wherever they need it.

We have applications to fill out at the library, but we can also email them! Middle schoolers could have gotten them from the EMS library as well. Applications are due May 25. Please contact us with any questions!

  • Next Wednesday, May 14th, from 3-5pm, Judy Scott will be at the Nortonville Library for Valley Falls swim lesson sign-ups. Lessons will be $40/child, open to ages 5 and up, and from June 16-26 at 9am. Transportation will be provided, and Judy will have details about that. She will have forms to fill out that afternoon and take payments.

  • Come to the Nortonville City Park on Saturday at 10am for the annual Beta Sigma Phi Easter Egg hunt and then head over to the library for our Petting Zoo and Easter crafts!

The egg hunt is free for ages 0-11, and the library will have spring babies for everyone to pet and hold–chicks, bunnies, goats, and more!
