Save the date for our Spring Fundraiser!

Save the date! Rather than having an all-day book and plant sale, we’re making it an event this year with delicious food, bingo, Scrabble tournaments, and more. All of the fun will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 6pm.

The event will be one of our two main fundraisers for the year. We’ll be raising money for our summer reading program activities.

We will have plants, reading buddies, and mystery book bundles available for sale that evening, and throughout the following week.

Stay tuned for more details, you don’t want to miss it!!

A Library Book Wish List

As a nonprofit organization, we do our best to provide the newest, most popular items for our community. Like, the new Freida McFadden novels that everyone wants to read, the middle grade series that all the kids have to have as soon as each new one comes out, large print versions of new releases, the most relevant and current nonfiction, and other sought-after books. As everyone that buys anything knows, though, prices go up and it gets harder to stretch a budget.

It’s easier to upcycle materials or find good deals on craft supplies than it is to save much money on brand new books coming out, so that where our favorite supporters like you come in.

Inspired by other libraries in the area, we’ve compiled a wish list of books across several genres that we’d like to share with you. If you are so inclined to purchase a book for the library off of this list, share the wish list with your friends or family, donate money for us to purchase a certain book (or any of our choosing), or any other support you can give, we would be so grateful!

We will also have some leaves on our giving tree in the library that you can “purchase” and sponsor a book that way.

We Need Auction Donations!

This year has flown by, and the holidays are coming up fast! That means that it’s almost time for our last big fundraiser of the year, our Gift Basket Silent Auction, and we are looking for donations. We can’t do what we do without your amazing community support!

If you’d like to donate a basket, goodies that can go in a basket, or money for us to use to purchase items for a basket, please let us know! Any size or amount is greatly appreciated. We’d like to have items by Wednesday, November 27th.

Thank you so much!
